Strength, Style, and Sustainability

Featuring Mass Ply Panels (MPP) supplied by Freres Wood, the new Life Sciences Building is a significant addition to the WSU Vancouver campus. Thoughtfully integrated into the hillside, the structure harmonizes with its natural surroundings while maintaining a strong architectural presence. The exterior is clad in brick, while the interior showcases exposed MPP as a defining design element, visible along the walls and ceilings.

In the upper structural level, the versatility of MPP is evident in its application for both floors and ceilings, demonstrating its structural integrity and adaptability. Additionally, the precision-engineered panels allow for seamless utility integration, with services efficiently routed through pre-planned openings, optimizing functionality and construction efficiency.
